March 4 Alzheimer’s 2019

 

The Alzheimer’s Association, Aloha Chapter will be hosting this year’s Advocacy Day will take place on Monday, March 4, 2019! Join advocates at the Hawaii State Capitol and help create change make a difference for those with Alzheimer’s Disease and their families. The day will start with legislative training followed by meetings with legislators to support Alzheimer’s and dementia-specific policies.

People will be meeting from 8:30 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. at Hawaii State Capitol Building Room 423, 415 S Beretania St. Honolulu, HI 96813. Breakfast and lunch will be provided.

On Advocacy Day, you will be able to:
• Receive training that will break down the issues and bills we are supporting.
• Learn current best practices on how to advocate at the legislature.
• Learn how to tell your story in support of bills.
• Meet with key legislators.
